We are surprised that handsome Buddy has not been snapped up well before now. His foster carers have had him since November & they describe him in the following terms: tall, young & healthy, cuddly, sweet natured, playful, cute but sometimes a little naughty (well, a boy can’t always be perfect). Buddy LOVES his basket of toys – both squeaky & soft. In the first few days he liked burying his toys (& sometimes his treats) in places such as under the lounge cushions, but this has now tapered off. He loves having more than one dog bed with lots of pillows and blankets - not only to organize them for his perfect roaching spot but he likes carrying them around from bed to bed and if he gets a chance, he will take some soft things or a shoe from you on the way as well.
Buddy would like a medium sized garden to practice his short but crazy zoomies & a corner to dig a nice hole. He also likes a plastic shell filled with water on hot days. He loves routine & his leash manners are generally excellent, although when he sees other people & dogs he gets excited to meet them & needs a firm hand to steady him. He is very sociable with all people & their doggy companions once they meet. Buddy likes car rides but doesn’t yet realize he can jump in by himself.
Buddy would be best suited to a couple or family (gentle children 10 years plus would be best) who are around to spend a fair bit of time with him. Who wouldn’t love this playful lad?
